Itinerary Day-by-Day
Day 1
Kigali Arrival
Transfer to your luxury hotel in Kigali. Take a short evening tour of Kigali city and the Genocide Memorial Centre.
Day 2
Drive to Volcanoes National Park
Drive through scenic winding hills (the Land of a Thousand Hills) to Volcanoes National Park. Stay at a high-end luxury lodge.
Day 3
Gorilla Trekking Day
Early morning briefing at park headquarters. Hike into the bamboo forest alongside park rangers to spend one hour with a wild gorilla family.
Day 4
Golden Monkey Tracking
Hike to see playful endangered golden monkeys in the bamboo canopy. In the evening, visit the Iby'Iwacu cultural village.
Day 5
Twin Lakes Exploration
Take a boat ride on Lake Burera and Lake Ruhondo. Enjoy scenic walks and community integration hikes.
Day 6
Return to Kigali
Drive back to Kigali for final souvenir shopping and departure transfer.
